The Stabler
Clinic performs hearing screenings and testing in our
sound proof booth. Depending on the results, you may be
a candidate for hearing aids. Hearing loss can also
manifest from other problems like ear infections, which
usually respond to antibiotic therapy. If ear
infections persist, myringotomies (tubes) may be
warranted. For children, myringotomies are performed at
the hospital under general anesthesia. For adults, they
are performed in the office.
Testing for
inhalant allergies (dust, molds and pollen) are also
performed at the Stabler Clinic. Dr. Aubrey performs
endoscopy which involves looking at the sinuses, throat,
and voice box with a fiber optic scope. In-office
x-rays of the sinuses and facial bones also help detect
serious sinus problems.
Dr.
Aubrey also performs in-office surgeries for all types
of face, scalp, ears, neck and lip lesions. He treats
these with simple removal by cautery or excision as well
as skin grafts and skin flap reconstructions. He also
treats sun damaged skin with chemical treatments.
Almost all facial, head and neck lesions or growths can
be treated in the office as an outpatient.
